We begin by listening to you and your child to understand where the key issues lie. Poor executive functioning skills and ADHD are complex and manifest differently in every child – there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why we’ll factor your circumstances into the heart of our ADHD tutoring program.
No matter your child’s needs, it’s possible to achieve academic success with ADHD. Forgetting deadlines, being distracted in class, and having to constantly make excuses are confusing and exhausting for your child as well as you. It doesn’t have to be this way. Our ADHD tutors will help your child understand the core values that will help them succeed in life and equip them with evidence-based techniques and strategies for developing good study habits for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

At Peak, we go beyond traditional ADHD tutoring programs to provide virtual ADHD coaching and comprehensive ADHD tutoring sessions that teach kids important executive functioning skills. Our curriculum is not just about academic success – it’s about helping children with ADHD build healthy habits and systems that will set them up for success beyond the classroom. Join us today and give your child the tools they need to lead a successful and productive life!
Key skills we teach include:
Good study habits for ADHD. Developing good habits in high school is essential. If your kid goes to college, they’ll need to have good study habits for ADHD in place, or the workload will overwhelm them. This will also be true in their professional life – opportunities for advancement come from diligence and determination, not from distraction.
Executive function and ADHD management practices. These are just as important outside academic study. They help your child develop a more understanding and respectful relationship with teachers, parents, and authority figures throughout their life. This will allow them to mature into a successful adult rather than struggling with executive functioning skills and ADHD management that should’ve been addressed in their youth.
Self-respect. Our ADHD tutoring program helps kids understand that they’re not doomed to poor habits. We nurture their strengths and help them recognize and address their weaknesses. By developing their self-respect with bespoke ADHD tutoring, we build their confidence and help them tackle executive function and ADHD independently.

Our ADHD life coaching program is dedicated to helping students diagnosed with ADHD hone executive function skills and reach their academic goals. We recognize that with the right support, students can master executive functioning, experience success in school, and see improvements in test scores. Our team provides personalized tutoring sessions to students where we get to know them on an individual level, develop tailored strategies for executive functioning, and build relationships with accountability and trust throughout. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment and recognizing each student’s unique potential. Our mission is to help each student achieve their best self while having fun along the way! Our ADHD coaching program was founded on a few simple, core principles. Here’s what we stand for.
Accountability – helping your child become accountable to themselves, their teachers, and you (the parent) is central to our ADHD coach program and a key part of their development.
Goal Setting and Tracking – kids with executive dysfunction often struggle to create and follow goals. We’ll enable them to develop a system for working towards goals that matter consistently throughout their lives.
Attitude Improvement – late diagnoses of executive function disorders can mean children develop an attitude problem – they don’t know why they struggle with academic pursuits, which is confusing. We’ll help them understand that they’re in control and that there’s nothing wrong with them: self-respect is at the core of everything.
Strategic Study Skills – whether your child struggles with academic studies across the board or has difficulty with specific subjects, we’ll tailor our program to their needs. We’ll help them develop strategies and techniques for succeeding in these areas.
Time Management – good time management practices will help your child throughout life. We set goals and help kids understand the benefits of managing their time productively.
Work Ethic Development – no child is “inherently lazy.” Children only give up when they don’t see any hope. This is caused by blaming themselves for things going wrong when they don’t understand. We’ll help your child develop self-confidence and respect, which helps them develop a strong work ethic because they know that they can find academic success with ADHD.
Ownership & Independence – there might be reasons for bad behavior, but there aren’t excuses. We’ll help your child own their mistakes and learn from them. They’ll become independent and able to control impulses and distractions more easily.

We match your child with a great academic coach
Student is on the road to building academic success habits
Our son has ADHD, language processing and auditory processing issues that inhibit his learning. Peak Academic Coaching was recommended to us by a friend. So glad we made the call to Josh. From the minute we met with Josh, we knew he “got” the learning situation. Our son needed more than tutoring, he needed a mentor that really cared how he was doing. All of the tutors Josh has sent to us are proficient in the classes our son needs help with. Our son’s report cards reflect that the help he is receiving works. We’re no longer our sons taskmaster, but are able to be parents that support his work.
This past summer when we were gearing up for back to school after the 6-month quarantine break, I knew my rising 9th grader would need help getting back into the swing of things. His ADHD has made school challenging under normal circumstances, so I knew it would be even more of a struggle starting high school with this “new normal” after having been out of school for so long. I reached out to Josh at Peak Academic Coaching, and I’m so glad I did. The academic coach my son works with 2½ hours a week is not only incredibly smart and a terrific teacher; but he is friendly, respectful and very professional as well. Most importantly though, my son looks up to him and wants to do well in part because of him. He is able to relate to his coach and sees in him a great example of what hard work and dedication to your education can do. Our coach has helped my son get a handle on his HS curriculum, become more organized and more independent, and has motivated him to want to try harder. For all of that, I am extremely grateful! I would highly recommend Peak Academic Coaching to any parent looking for someone to help their child get ahead or stay ahead in school.
It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Peak Academic Coaching (PAC). Our son who was diagnosed with a learning disability and ADHD in the 7th grade struggled with middle school. We knew we needed to get him some help, and in the 9th grade, we found PAC through a friend. I contacted Josh the owner, and you could tell from the start he was ready to help our son. He took his time discussing our son and his needs. He paired us with our Academic Coach. Our coach and son work great together. They map out the week: Homework assignments, test, and quizzes. He not only helps our son learn and study, but gives him a plan for the week that will allow him to succeed. PAC has done so well with adapting to the Covid situation, not missing a beat. This year they added a nightly text reminder that goes to our son and us. Letting us know of nightly tasks, upcoming assignments, and tests. As two working parents we feel informed and up to date on what he has to accomplish for the week. After a successful freshman year, we are looking forward to working with PAC for the next 3 year.
We started using Peak in the Fall semester and what a huge help they’ve been with getting my son back on track. He has ADHD and falls behind quickly. At first we thought we needed help in just math and Biology but it turned out to be more than that; all subjects and improving his organizational skills. We are pleased to have found the one on one help from a great, dependable academic coach & tutor.
